Discovering Pavilions or 29
October 15, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
The Ibero-american Exposition of 1929 led to the growth of the city following almost parallel lines to the flow of the Guadalquivir. From this opening towards the south the city is conserved notable evidence such as the Maria Luisa Park or the immense Palmera Avenue. But there also remains some of the characteristic pavilions that participating countries built which are often overlooked because they stand next to the majestic Plaza de España or because of the daily traffic that passes them by. Today’s itinerary takes us to the pavilions of Peru and Chile with their pre-Colombian motifs, the Renaissance air of the Uruguay Pavilion or the exquisite tiles of the Guatemala Pavilion.
