Summer, a perfect season to come and learn Spanish in Spain. Good temperatures and plenty of sunshine to discover a wonderful country. Spain is a country full of life and contrasts, and summer is a good time to experience them.

The best way to discover a country is to learn its language and to be able to communicate with the local people. Seville is by no means a tourist resort, it is a city in southern Spain with a thriving cultural and social life all year round. Here in Seville you will learn and practice Spanish and at the same time experience the real Spanish lifestyle.

We do not want you to feel like a mere spectator and so we encourage you to live and study Spanish in Seville during your holidays. In this way you will be able to communicate with real Spanish people, learning the language in a real context.

Giralda Center-Spanish House organises intensive Spanish summer courses in Seville from June to September. Our Spanish courses consist of 4 hours of Spanish lessons in the morning in small groups (max 8 students per class) and an exciting cultural programme in the afternoon. We also organise excursions every weekend for those students who are eager to discover other places in southern Spain. Spanish summer courses last from 1 week to 12 weeks.

Our summer school has a privileged location in Seville’s historic centre, in the Santa Cruz Quarter. The school is located in a traditional Spanish building in a central street lined with orange trees, facing the Giralda tower and Cathedral of Seville. Our Spanish students can enjoy Seville’s historical heritage at its best during the summer: Seville’s Royal Alcazar, Maria Luisa Park, The Guadalquivir River, the streets and squares of Santa Cruz, etc

The school provides accommodation for Spanish summer courses in shared flats, with carefully selected Spanish host families and private apartments located at walking distance from the school. Students can walk to class every morning without using transport and enjoy Seville’s streets, squares and monuments. A colourful street life surrounds the school, which you can enjoy after class. At Giralda Center-Spanish House you can experience the charms of this city and its lively people.
