ANDALUSIA
A vertex between Europe and Africa and the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, it has been coveted over the centuries by numerous cultures since before history was written and even long before, enjoying the preferences of our prehistoric ancestors as a place to settle. The Andalusian territory represents 17.3 % of Spain, covering a surface of 87,268 km2, more extensive than countries such as Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Austria or Switzerland. Andalusia has more than seven million inhabitants. The great majority live in the large cities- the eight capitals of the province (Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Málaga and Seville). Its coast spreads over 5 provinces, 169 beaches which cover 562 kilometres.
