Giralda Center - Spanish HouseExperience and innovationGiralda Center has been offering Spanish language courses since 1983. Thousands of students have passed through our classrooms, forming part of our academic and personal commitment to quality. We focus on the individual needs of students, giving constant support for anything needed or required from us before, during and after their stay in Seville: - Academic assessment: we help you choose the course that best fits your learning objectives. - Accomodation: we help match you with your ideal lodgings in Seville’s beautiful city center. - Culture: cultural language activities are made available to you to take full advantage of linguistic immersion. - Evaluation: our teaching team assesses each and every one of our students, suggesting complementary activities to help learning during your course and beyond. We are located on one of the most delightful streets of Seville, Calle Mateos Gago 17, moments away from the spectacular Giralda tower and the Alcázar palace. With a population of close to a million inhabitants, it is an ideal city to learn Spanish. Seville offers a good climate and an impressive artistic heritage. Framed in Europe’s largest historical center, culturally it has a great deal to offer, with festivals, traditions and, above all, its people with their communicative Andalusian character and hospitality). Recent remodeling in the city center, with the creation of 70 Km. of bike paths, the pedestrianisation of a great expanse of the historical center, the new metro and streetcars, make our city an urban space designed for people. All about our Spanish coursesGiralda Center has its own curriculum; our Curricular Plan establishes the base for Spanish teaching, respecting all varieties of the Spanish-speaking community. Our six teaching levels, A1-A2, B1-B2, C1-C2, are adapted to the “Common European Framework of reference for language learning, teaching and assessment”. Giralda Center offers a variety of courses for both students and professionals who wish to learn or improve their command of Spanish.
Giralda Center also offers the possibility of tailor-made courses and accomodation with a family: school groups (12-17 years old) and university groups with their accredited language and culture programs as well as a wide cultural and free-time program: monuments and museums, dance, cooking classes, gymkhanas (treasure hunts) and weekend excursions: Madrid, Granada, Cordoba, Cadiz, Huelva, Sierra de Sevilla, Portugal, Morocco, etc. |
