Where is the school situated? The school is situated in the historic center of Seville - 200 meters from the cathedral. Plaza Virgen de los Reyes entrando a Calle Mateos Gago. What is the average age of your students? Normally our students are in between 20 and 35 years old, we have a minimum age of 17 but no upper limit. Where do your students come from? Our students come from all over the world (Europe, North America, Brasil, Japan, Australia etc.) - we do not specialise in any nationality Do the students have internet access in the school? We do have internet access in the school for the students - each students has 30 mins. internet access a day free of charge When do I have to pay? The payment has to be made within the first two days of class. Can I pay with credit card? We do accept credit cards (visa, mastercard and American express). QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CITY SEVILLE
How is the weather in Seville? During winter the temperature is around 10º with some ocasional showers. In spring the temperature is around 15-20º with more sun, but with the risk of showers. In summer the temperature rises to 30-40º and dry weather. In autumn the temperature returns to 15-20º and wet weather on occasions. Which known cities are situated around Seville? Around Seville you can find cities as Cádiz, Córdoba and Huelva - and also Portugal is close to Seville How big is Seville? Seville is the capital of the region Andalucia. The population of the city is appoximately 700.000 inhabitants. Is it easy to get from the airport to the city-center? From the airport it is possible to go by bus or taxi to the center of the city. Also the school offers an airport transfer for 30 €. QUESTIONS ABOUT COURSES
How many levels do the courses have? We work with 6 different levels - beginners, elemental, pre-intermediate, intermediate, pre-advanced and advanced How much do you learn in a month? In general we say that 4 weeks of the Standard course - 80h - gets you up one level. If I register for example for 4 weeks, can I decide to prolong later on? If you prolong one week we have a price for an extra week. If you decide to prolong for example for 4 weeks more, you just pay the price for 4 weeks again. How do you evaluate my level? On the first day of class we ask you to be here before classes start to give you a level-test. The test consists of a written and oral part with one of our teachers. How many students are there in each class? We have a maximum of 8 students per class, which allows all students to participate in the class. What is the timetable of the course? The timetable for the Standard course is from 9h30 to 13h30 and for the Intensive course the timetable of the afternoon classes is from 14h30 to 16h00. Can I also find an exchange with Spanish students? Yes, we have in the school Spanish students learning English, French, Italian or German along the year. How can I register for a course? You can send the inscription form you find on our website with your personal details and dates for the course. Once we get this form we will send you an email to explain how to do the booking and payment of the course. When can I start a course? Total beginners have to start on the beginning dates you can find on our website or in our brochure, but students with some knowledge of the language can start on any Monday of the year. Do I get my own room? In our accommodations the students always get their own private bedroom, unless the student specifically asks for sharing a doubleroom with his/her friend. Are the accommodations situated close to the school? All our accommodations are situated within a walking distance from the school - maximum 20 mins. Walking, but typically 10 or 15 mins. Are the shared apartments shared with Spanish people? We have both apartments shared with other students and with Spanish people, so we always try to follow each student's wish. Do I have to bring towels or sheets? The apartments are always fully equipped with towels, sheets and kitchen utils, so you only have to bring personal items such as shampoo, toothbrush etc. Can I arrive to my accommodation on a Saturday? Normally there is no problem arriving on a Saturday, it is only important that we know in advance when you arrive. |
